General
The State of Israel, via the ministry of defense - MOD, (henceforth: the office) offers use of this online internet web site (henceforth: the site) in accordance with the following terms (henceforth: Terms of use). The office reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms of use at any time; any changes made will be in effect immediately on publishing. Use of the site will be subject to the Terms of use in effect at the time of use. The term "user" henceforth applies to all visitors, users and others who access or use the site. Misuse of the site, as defined below, is prohibited; Interference or disruption of the services, content and/or information on the site in anyway, attempted access to the site via any route, other than the intended interface, and the instructions found on the site; the user is permitted to use the site according to the law. The office may suspend or terminate access to the site or to services to users not abiding by the Terms of use in whole or any part of them, or if the office or any authorized authority investigate suspicion of either unlawful behavior or behavior constituting misuse of the site as specified in the terms of use.
Copyright
According to current Israel copyright law, and according to international treaties, copyrights for the office publications, including those published on this site, are the property of The State of Israel. These copyrights apply to, but are not exclusive to, all texts, images, illustrations, maps, sounds, video, graphic elements, and software applications (henceforth: the protected material), unless, otherwise explicitly determined and stated the copyrights belong to a third party.
The user is permitted to make "fair use" of the protected material, according to law. Fair use includes reasonable quotation of the protected material.
If making a quotation, the user must state the source of quoted material, whether the source is an office or a third party. It is prohibited to make any distortion, falsification, damage or any other change, or to make any action that constitutes a devaluing of the protected material, that could cause offence to, discredit or slander the copyright owner.
According to copyright law, it is prohibited to copy, publish, execute in public, broadcast, make available to the public, make derivative works, rent or lease, any protected material, without written, authorized approval from the office.
Online services
The site provides access to online services, either in full or partially (henceforth: services). Use of the services is in accordance with the law, in respect to the specific service being used, and the provision for the services is the responsibility of the government offices and public bodies authorized to provide the services, by law (henceforth: the service provider). In the case of services, either in full or partially, either temporarily or permanently, inaccessible via the site, users can contact the office directly, to receive the service.
Privacy
The policy specifies the information collected by the office during the use of the Website and the manner of use of such information by the office. The policy also contains information regarding the use of cookies.
By using the Website, you consent to the following policy.
1.The office collects various types of information during the use of the Website. The office collects information regarding your IP address and the characteristics of the device you are using to access the Website, such as the type of browser, type of operating system, interface language on your device, etc.
The office also collects information regarding the manner in which you use the Website – how you reach the Website, how long you spend on it, which pages you view, etc. If you use various services through the Website, the office may collect and document additional information within such services, according to the terms thereof.
2.The office collects, processes, and retains information, as necessary, for several purposes. The office uses the information to analyze traffic and behavior of Website visitors and thereby gain a better understanding of the subjects that are of interest to them. This understanding helps the office improve the service provided through the Website, and its services in general.

4.The office is permitted to use third-party services and tools for the collection and analysis of aggregated anonymous statistical information, and to transfer and share such information to third parties at its discretion, for the purposes specified in this policy and subject to this policy.
5.The information collected may be retained in databases of the office and/or of third parties that provide the office with services, in Israel or in other countries.
6.The Website uses cookies. Cookies, tags, pixel files, etc. are technologies sent to the device from which you are accessing the Website, which store various information files on your device automatically. These technologies are referred to, jointly, as “cookies.” The cookies used by the office help the office:
- Identify your device to learn about how you use the Website.
- Offer you a user-friendly interface on the Website. Cookies are also used for the other purposes described in this policy.
In using cookies, the office does not collect identifying information about you such as your name, telephone number, e-mail address, etc. However, as noted above, the office may collect information that could identify your device, your IP address, etc.

Microsoft clarity, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager are used to analyze anonymous, statistical, aggregate information about traffic and activity on the Website.
These tools are also used by the office for advertising and remarketing purposes, on the Website and on the Internet in general (using AdWords), which may be customized to your preferences, based on the characteristics of your activity on the Website.
The office also uses Google reports on social media references and Analytics reports on demographics and areas of interest. Facebook Pixel is also used for customized advertising on social media.
When operating these tools on the Website, the companies that supply the tools (Microsoft, Google and Facebook) use their own cookies to identify your device and to collect information, such as your IP address, unique identifiers and characteristics of the device you are using, your activity on the Website, the pages you view, and more. These cookies may enable them to identify your device even after you leave the Website of the office.
The information they collect may be retained in the companies’ databases outside Israel.
